How this store uses information

This policy describes personal information handling for the Verdette online store. For questions, access or correction requests, deletion requests or privacy complaints, email knoxchalmers47@gmail.com. Please do not send payment card details or identity documents by email or through the contact form.

  • Shopify: hosts the website, cart, checkout and order records. Shopify Payments processes payments. Shopify's admin currently lists the United States as this store's customer-data hosting location; processing can also involve other countries.
  • CJdropshipping and delivery providers: fulfil the brush from China. Order and delivery details are shared for fulfilment, shipping and tracking. The store remains your contact for order issues and refunds.
  • Email and enquiries: messages and order notifications are handled through Shopify and the Gmail address above. Contact details and message content are used to respond and assist with orders. An enquiry is not a marketing subscription.
  • Advertising integrations: Facebook & Instagram (Meta) and TikTok integrations are installed. Advertising technologies can process browsing events, device identifiers and purchase events for measurement and advertising, subject to the applicable settings and choices.
  • Other installed services: DSers-AliExpress Dropshipping has permission to access customer contact details, device/activity data and orders. Shopify Messaging is also installed. The brush is connected to CJdropshipping for fulfilment.
  • Spam prevention: Shopify may use hCaptcha on forms, which processes browser and interaction information to help detect abuse. If you cannot use the form, email us instead.

Cookies and your choices

Essential technologies support the cart, checkout, security and your privacy preferences. Optional categories include analytics, marketing and personalisation. Use the cookie banner to accept, decline or choose categories. You can reopen Cookie preferences in the website footer to change your choices, including withdrawing optional consent. Refusing optional cookies does not prevent you from browsing or buying. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies; blocking essential cookies can affect checkout.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled. Shopify uses information about interactions with this store alongside information from other merchants and Shopify services to provide enhanced features, including advertising and personalisation, subject to applicable choices. Retention depends on the type of record, order support, dispute handling, provider practices and legal recordkeeping obligations. Information collected and why

When you buy or contact us, information can include your name, email, delivery and billing details, order contents, payment status and messages. Shopify and payment providers process payment information to complete transactions; do not send card information to our support address. Website technologies can collect IP addresses, browser/device information, identifiers and page or purchase events. This information supports orders, delivery, customer service, fraud prevention and the optional purposes described above.

Information comes from you, your browser, Shopify, payment and fulfilment providers. It can also be disclosed where required by law or to address fraud and disputes. Only provide information needed for your enquiry or order.

Marketing

Contacting support or placing an order does not by itself subscribe you to promotional emails. Any promotional communications must have an appropriate permission basis and a way to unsubscribe. Essential order and service messages are separate from marketing. Cookie choices are separate from email marketing choices.

Access, correction, deletion and complaints

Email knoxchalmers47@gmail.com to ask about information held, request access or correction, request deletion, withdraw marketing permission, or complain about information handling. We may need to verify that a request is from the person concerned. Please do not send identity documents unless an appropriate verification process has been agreed. Requests are subject to applicable law and recordkeeping obligations.

If a privacy concern is not resolved, information about Australian privacy rights and complaint options is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. The rights and complaint avenues available depend on the circumstances and applicable law. The storefront and checkout use HTTPS. No internet service can promise absolute security. Use a secure email account and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in messages.
